We use a variety of methods to evaluate our performance with our patients. We are currently running the NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT), which is a single-question survey which asks patients whether they would recommend the NHS service they have received to friends and family who need similar treatment or care. You can submit your FFT scoring card via reception or, alternatively, you will receive a text message two hours after your appointment which you can also use to score your experience.
Alongside the FFT, we are also currently participating in The GP Patient Survey has been designed to give patients the opportunity to comment on their experience of their GP practice. The survey asks about your experiences of your local GP surgery and other local NHS services, and includes questions about your general health. The survey includes questions about a range of issues, such as how easy or difficult it is for patients to make an appointment at their surgery, satisfaction with opening hours, the quality of care received from their GP and practice nurses, amongst other things. These surveys are sent out every year to patients who are selected at random.
